John Falconetti, President

John Falconetti is a native of Jacksonville, FL and received a BA from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He became the President of The Drummond Press in 2005, after working with the company since 1989. Mr. Falconetti is the third generation to run this Family business, and grew up working the summers in most every department throughout the operation. This experience and the fiscally conservative business practices that were first introduced by his grandparents have helped define his management philosophy today.

He has been named an Ultimate CEO by the Jacksonville Business Journal, the outstanding volunteer of the year by the American Red Cross of Northeast Florida and The Distinguished Young Alumnus of the Year by his college alma matter.  He has been appointed by the past three Florida Governors’ to serve our community and state as a Board Member of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority, Enterprise Florida and currently on the Jacksonville Port Authority. He is a past Chairman of the Duval County Republican Party, Jacksonville Library Board of Trustees and a past member of the National Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Jacksonville Symphony, The University of the South and Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.  Falconetti was elected a delegate to the 2008 Republican National Convention. He was also chosen as one of two persons to represent the State of Florida on the Republican National Committee’s 2008 Platform Committee. He is an alumnus of Leadership Jacksonville, Leadership Florida, and a member of The Downtown Rotary Club. He is an active member and the Senior Warden of St John’s Episcopal Cathedral.

Mr. Falconetti is married to Shannon Miller, a 7-time Olympic Medalist and America’s most decorated gymnast. Together they founded the Shannon Miller Foundation with a mission to bring greater awareness and education to the epidemic of Childhood Obesity. Their flagship event, the Shannon Miller Kid’s Marathon held its inaugural event in 2009 with over 600 registrants. Since then this annual event has grown into several thousand participants allowing the proceeds to fund an in school running program that serves over 7,000 Duval County Public School students a year.

They have a son, Rocco and spend their free time participating in community service activities. He also enjoys pursuing his hobbies of flying and cycling.

Paul Van Wie, Vice President of Operations

Paul Van Wie was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. He went on to receive a BS in Physical Education from Arizona State University and an MS in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. After graduation, Paul went on to coach football at Eastern Kentucky University, The University of the South, Episcopal High School and Wabash College. In 2002 he left coaching to join Drummond Press as an Assistant Production Manager. Early in his career with Drummond, Paul led the estimating department and the successful installation of our 40” 6 color Heidelberg, M110 5 color heat set web, 29” 6 color Heidelberg, Computer to Plate device and a significant plant expansion. He also spearheaded our company wide Lean initiative. This Lean Journey has brought Drummond industry acclaim while significantly decreasing costs and throughput times.

Paul and his wife Anne Marie have a two year old daughter, Ava May and are members of the St Johns Episcopal Cathedral. When not working his hobbies include golf and grilling/smoking food. He has also been active in several non-profit organizations such as the Wilkins Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis and United Way.

Bob Morales, Vice President of Sales

Bob Morales was born in Nashville, attended Montgomery Bell Academy before receiving his B.A. in Psychology at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. At Sewanee, Bob was the President of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, member of the Green Ribbon Society, as well All CAC player in Football and Baseball.  In 1987 he was named the  Most Valuable Player in the College Athletic Conference for football.  Bob also studied abroad in the British Studies Program at Oxford University in England.

Bob began his professional career with JH Morales Sales Company, based in Nashville, TN in 1987, in 1989 he and his brother purchased the company from his father.  Bob was named President, and moved to Atlanta to service their largest client, Home Depot. Bob served in that role until the company was sold to KSM Southeast in 1999. In the new partnership, Bob served as a Managing Partner and led the Specification Sales Division.

Bob joined the Drummond Team in 2003 and has been instrumental in restructuring the Sales Team and helping mold Drummond’s vision. After being named Vice President of Sales in 2006, he worked diligently to stay engaged in the Print industries most significant technological advancements and spearheaded Drummond’s move into the Print Management Services arena that we provide today.  Bob oversees all of the print management clients including three of Drummond’s top five clients.

When not working Bob enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years Angie and their three children (Breland 16, Grace 13 and David 10). He has coached every sport in support of his kids and is an active member of the Ortega Methodist Church.  At Ortega United Methodist, Bob serves as chairman of the SPR Committee, is a youth counselor and leader of the Crew Sunday school class.  In his quiet time, Bob loves to play golf and is known for his Championship Barbeque.
